While it has been receiving a huge boost in recent years, we find that STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is never represented enough in smaller towns, as well as local public schools. Sometimes it’s difficult for companies to get involved in STEM, and sometimes they’ve already found a way to integrate but are looking for more opportunities!
We the Jellyfish are here to represent STEM in our community, from having local businesses sponsor us (Want to sponsor us? Find out more here.), to attending STEM and STEAM technology committees for our school and the surrounding area. Thanks to the efforts of our many dedicated team members, interested teachers and sponsors of Rye Brook, we’ve been lucky enough to raise a lot of interest in STEM, prompting new classes in school (such as Honors and AP computer science) as well as new, STEM-related facilities.
If you’re interested to be a part of our STEM community or have any questions, feel free to contact us! We would love to collaborate with you.
